Posted on 11th Sep 2008

BMW 3 Series Facelift

Launched on the 20th of September 2008, the world's most successful premium car has taken a step further ahead of the competition.

Offering enhanced specification and EfficientDynamics technology across the range, the new BMW 3 Series Saloon and Touring are an even more attractive business proposition.

The revised design combines dynamism and elegance, reflecting the BMW 3 Series' sporting intent. Design elements include a new one-piece BMW kidney grille, striking bonnet precision lines and new headlights with LED indicators.

The interior of the BMW 3 Series is even more refined. The use of matt chrome detailing on many of the controls gives a contemporary feel. The window switches have been repositioned for easier use and additional storage has been added for convenience.

BMW EfficientDynamics and the widest choice of engines in the class ensures fuel efficiency without compromising performance. The 245hp 330d achieves 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds and emissions below 165g/km in both manual and automatic transmission. The 143hp BMW 318d automatic is offered for the first time with emissions of just 144g/km and combined fuel consumption of 52.3mpg.
