The time capsule included winning designs of ‘Cars for the future’ created by Bolton School pupils following a recent competition organised by Williams Bolton. The competition was extremely well received by pupils with over 350 submitting their designs.
The winning entries were placed inside the time capsule along side a selection of miniature BMW and MINI cars, BMW and MINI brochures, BMW and MINI key rings, a signed BWFC pennant flag, the number one single, a copy of the Bolton and Manchester Evening News, the latest copies of Cheshire Life, Lancashire Life and Your Quarter magazines and copies of The Independent, The Times and The Daily Mail.
Alison Mulvey, Williams Group Marketing Manager said: “The burial of this time capsule marks an exciting period in the construction of our new dealership and we are delighted that pupils at Bolton School have been able to play such a key part in this. The response to the competition was phenomenal.”
