The BMW PGA Championship is widely regarded as the flagship event on the European Tour and that status has been enhanced by a host of additions to this year’s spectator facilities.
The BMW exhibition is just one of the new interactive features to be found in the official Tented Village that also houses a BMW Drivers’ Lounge, a crèche, a large merchandise area, a giant scoreboard, a champagne bar & brassiere and a variety of other public catering facilities.
The centrepiece of this year’s Tented Village will be a spectacular BMW exhibition featuring a range of BMW cars and motorbikes, as well as a Formula BMW driving simulator and an interactive golf feature. The highlight of the display will be the BMW Hydrogen 7 that symbolises BMW’s drive for Efficient Dynamics.
Last year’s Championship was won by England’s David Howell, who joins an impressive list of past champions that includes Peter Alliss, Tony Jacklin, Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam and Colin Montgomerie.
BMW owners can benefit from exclusive discounts when they buy their tickets in advance from the BMW Golf Office on 0118 932 8020.
Fans will also have the chance to see many of The European Tour’s biggest names free of charge on Wednesday, May 23, with the announcement that admission fees for the BMW PGA Championship’s Pro-Am Day will be waived.
