The difference is Williams
The new BMW X6 combines the versatility and security of the BMW X5 with the performance of a sports car and elegance styling of a coupé. The flowing roofline is characteristic of the coupé silhouette, whilst the muscular wheel arches and large wheels give an impressive look of stability.
Longer, wider and lower than the BMW X5, the BMW X6 has an aggressive low nose, high tail stance, smaller glass areas and an enormous boot.
The BMW X6 is the first car in the world to feature Dynamic Performance Control for unique directional stability and precision under all driving conditions as well as BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive technology. The BMW X6 also has a new eight-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddles.
The BMW X6 will be available in a 290bhp 3.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, as well as a 400bhp version of the 4.8-litre V8 from the BMW X5. A hybrid will appear at a later date complete with twin electric motors – one for town use and the other for motorways.
Entry-level versions of the BMW X6 will start from approximately £45,000.
