We group cars that we buy into Showroom Condition, Average Condition and Below Average Condition categories – these indicate the overall condition of a vehicle.

    LeftRight
Showroom Condition The car is in immaculate condition and requires no refurbishment. Full manufacturer service history and at least 6 months MOT is present.
Average Condition The car is in good condition and well looked after with service history and an MOT. Minor work will bring it back to showroom condition.
Below Average Condition My car has seen better days and has incomplete or no service history. It will need some work before it can be sold.

    FAQ

If you have any queries, please consult our frequently asked questions below – if you can’t find the answer you need, please contact your local Williams Group showroom team today.

Is Williams Group’s online valuation service reliable?

    Close

Yes. We use real-time car-market data and our own sales statistics to generate accurate quotes.

Can I use my car’s valuation in a part-exchange deal?

    Close

Absolutely. Actually, it’s a great way to secure an upgraded model.

Does it matter if my car’s service history is incomplete?

    Close

A complete service history is a good indication of how well-maintained a car is. Conversely, a patchy service history tends to indicate the opposite, which means the vehicle won’t be worth as much.

When’s the best time of year to sell my car?

    Close

It depends on the type of car you have. For instance, an uptick in used convertible car sales occurs during spring and summer.
