The My BMW App is your key to the very best BMW experience, offering a range of features for both fuel-powered and electric cars.

The latest generation of BMW connected app technology, My BMW evolves from the successful BMW Connected App providing an enhanced user experience, improved stability and performance and includes brand new features for plug-in hybrid and electric models.

Stay in the driving seat, even when you’re not. From planning adventures to keeping your car secure, these features are available whether your BMW is fuel-powered, plug-in hybrid or all-electric. You can:

• Plan your next route remotely, before sending it straight to your BMW’s navigation system. You can also use the navigation technology to search for Points of Interest, add favourite locations, and find the nearest available parking spaces.
• Check your doors are closed and locked, and if required, lock them remotely.
• Activate your car’s lights to locate it in a busy place.
• View your car’s tyre pressure and see if any action is required.
• With selected models*, use the app to access the car’s Remote Theft Recorder. If the alarm system is activated, it will inform you by push notification and use the car’s cameras to record images inside and out
• Use the ‘Explore’ tab to access the latest stories and news from the world of BMW, along with exclusive content and competitions.

My BMW App: New Features.

The new release (March 2024, 4.3) of the My BMW App includes new features, such as:

• Comfort open and close: The ability to control wingmirrors, windows, sun-blinds and glass sunroofs from the app within a range of 50m around the vehicle.
• Charging status: Customers can see detailed insights of their personal charging behaviour, with the current mileage at point of charging now available in charging history.
• Charging station popular times: This identifies historic and current occupancy of public chargers.
• Alarm system status: A new icon in the Vehicle tab indicates the alarm status as either armed or disarmed. This is also available on Apple Watch and as an OS Widget.

Servicing, Sorted.

Ensure that your BMW receives the necessary servicing effortlessly. Visit the 'Vehicle Status' section on the app to check if a service is required. If it is, simply tap the 'Schedule Service' option to book it swiftly. In the event of a breakdown, logon to the app to request BMW Roadside Assistance and automatically share your car's vital information.
