MINI has designed the Countryman range in order to bring the signature MINI engineering knowledge to an off-road all-wheel drive set of vehicles. With greater capacity for luggage and storage than other MINI models, the Countryman is the perfect range for everyday driving for those with families. Suited for both the city and the country, the five-seat Countryman gives drivers the best of both worlds. Motorists can choose from the MINI One, One D, Cooper, Cooper ALL4, Cooper S, Cooper S ALL4, Cooper D, Cooper D ALL4, Cooper SD, Cooper SD ALL4 and John Cooper Works Countryman models.
The MINI Countryman has unique proportions and classic front-end styling, clearly identifying it as belonging to the MINI range. This incarnation of the Countryman carries updated styling features, allowing the range to now include a redesigned radiator grille, and optional LED fog lights. Additional features to the exterior include design elements on the front and rear aprons, and side skirts that have been made to resemble an underride guard.
The interior of the Countryman has a huge amount of interior flexibility, as well as storage and luggage space. The body of the Countryman has been extended in order to accommodate its five passengers, and allows for luggage capacity from 350 litres all the way up to 1,170 litres if desired.
The interior styling of the Countryman can be entirely personalised, with a range of different trim colours and upholstery options allowing the motorist true freedom of expression. The Countryman features a three-part seat bench within, offering a choice between exemplary legroom or increased luggage space. For infotainment options, the Countryman takes advantage of MINI's Connected system, which is a complete in-car system providing both vital drive information as well as Dynamic Music and app-ready capabilities.
In terms of engines, the Countryman has a wide range that depends on the model chosen. The range offers top speeds of up to 135mph, alongside 0-60mph speeds of approximately 13 seconds or less. The combined fuel consumption can reach 67.3mpg, and CO2 emissions can be as low as 111g/km.
Motorists can feel safe in the Countryman, as it has been awarded the five-star Euro NCAP safety award. The Countryman vehicles all arrive with six airbags as standard, with driver and passenger airbags to protect the head and upper body, and side and head airbags to provide additional protection. There is the option for two ISOFIX child seat attachments, and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) works with the Hill Start Assist feature to make every driving situation as controlled as possible.
