BMW M3

The BMW M3 is a high-performance sports car, so you can expect blazing speed and luxury drive quality. At the heart of the model sits a redesigned M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol engine, which provides spine-tingling power from the moment you turn the key, thanks to a vast amount of torque.

Exterior

Styled as a saloon, the BMW M3 has four doors for easy access, and striking air inlets to keep the engine cool. Sporty LED headlights give an angled glare, while the kidney grille and M emblem show this to be one of BMW's most prestigious cars. The black carbon roof is deliberately low, lowering the centre of gravity and helping to reduce the car's weight.

Interior

The interior has a clear motorsport influence, with shell-shaped seats and high quality aluminium surfaces. BMW's Head-Up Display projects key information onto your windscreen, so you don't need to take your eyes from the road, and a voice-controlled system lets you operate the audio player without lifting a finger.

Engines and Performance

The BMW M3 is powered by a 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine, which generates 431bhp. Outstanding maximum torque of 550Nm helps the car accelerate sharply from 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds. A range of technological tweaks help to make the engine more economical, too – it'll achieve 32.1mpg on the combined cycle.

Safety

A car like the new BMW M3 will take you to the limits, so it's vitally important that the vehicle is fitted with the latest safety technology. The ultra high-strength steel frame ensures the passenger cell offers considerable protection, while a shock absorber has been built into the bumper area. Adaptive LED headlights are also included as standard, to give greater visibility.
