Exterior

A unique feature of the AWD model is the set of 20-inch Gyrodyne Black alloy wheels, fitted to match the glossy black side sills and bonnet vents. You can also spot 'AWD' badging on the bonnet. Another dark accent at the top of the car is seen in the form of a quick convertible roof. Open or close the roof at up to 30mph – it takes only 12 seconds, protecting from rain and capitalising on sunny days.

Interior

F-TYPE R’s interior dials up the intensity of the 1+1 experience. The 'R' theme gives the car a unique personality and includes Dark Linear Aluminium on the centre console finisher. Enjoy high quality leather with twin needle stitching and, for more lateral support, body-hugging Performance Seats with 'R' embossed on the headrests.

Technology

From the gloss black rollover protection bars to the blind spot monitoring system, the convertible is packed with reassuring features to keep you safe. Twin front and side airbags are built into the cabin layout with strategic positioning for maximum occupant protection. Braking assistances and the Pedestrian Contact Sensing System are also included, giving the car quicker reflexes in all situations.

All journeys are enhanced by the 8" Full Colour Touchscreen with built in navigation system, bluetooth telephone and media interface, advanced trip computer and InControl apps.

Performance

Jaguar's supercharged V8 engine gives the convertible its unrelenting enthusiasm. The 5.0-litre petrol engine delivers 680Nm of torque and 550PS, rocketing from 0-60mph in under four seconds. The R AWD Convertible runs in all-wheel drive, using an eight-speed Quickshift automatic transmission.
