Jaguar F-TYPE S Convertible

The Jaguar F-TYPE S Convertible builds on the exciting nature of a convertible car with racing-inspired design. It feels sporty and raring to go, with an aerodynamic shape formed by the wind. That flowing nature can be felt from the driver's seat, through the smooth Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS).

Exterior

You can glimpse the model's High Performance Braking System from the exposed red brake calipers. They flash out from behind the 19-inch silver Propeller alloy wheels. A highlight of the design is naturally the smooth convertible roof. It operates in just 12 seconds and at up to 30mph, helping you adapt quickly to changes in weather conditions.

Interior

At the driver's position, the leather-covered three-spoke steering wheel and arrangement of the large analogue dials help to maintain your comfort even on longer journeys. All of the main controls have been positioned closer to the driver's seat, as an aid to convenience and concentration.

With Jaguar's personalisation options, you have the freedom to bring your own character to the F-TYPE. Colour schemes, textiles, accessory packs and other choices are available for the S Convertible to transform it into even more of an individual car.

Technology

As the F-TYPE acts as the showcase for intelligent Jaguar features, it arrives with comprehensive, clever safety equipment. The S Convertible's satin chrome rollover protection bars are an integral part of the design. Torque Vectoring by Braking is another built-in function, joined by Adaptive Dynamics within the sports suspension and a Limited Slip Differential.

More support is provided through the eight-inch touchscreen at the centre console. It acts as your portal to a world of intelligent and tailored infotainment. You can optionally connect a compatible audio device to the car to bring your favourite driving music with you. Navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, tailored driving modes and more are accessible through the screen.

Performance

The convertible's quick changes and reflexes are boosted with the power of a 3.0-litre V6 engine. It's a supercharged petrol powertrain that claims 380PS, and can be chosen with a manual or automatic transmission. The model's 0-60mph time is never more than six seconds. Gear shift paddles are built into the steering wheel on automatic models, making even changing gear seem that bit more sporty and fun.
