The sporty new Jaguar F-PACE Prestige combines muscular good looks with a spacious, luxurious interior and a frugal diesel engine that drives down running costs and environmental impact.
Sitting on 18-inch alloy wheels, the F-PACE Prestige is an undeniably handsome SUV.
Its lithe body echoes the C-X17 concept car and features slim line rear lights inspired by the race inspired F-TYPE coupé.
Features included on the Prestige trim include chrome side power vents, a chrome grille surround and a powered tailgate, as well as front fog lights and satin chrome roof rails.
The F-PACE Prestige’s interior is luxuriously comfortable, thanks to cosseting leather upholstery and dual zone climate control. When you need to expand the class leading 650-litre boot, the rear seats fold individually so you can carry large items with ease.
An eight inch touchscreen sits proudly at the centre of the dashboard and houses the standard satellite navigation system. A Jaguar sound system, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity are also integrated with this screen to keep you connected and help you set the perfect soundtrack to every drive.
Technology and safety
Jaguar InControl is a suite of services and applications that connects you to your F-PACE Prestige. It transforms the car into a Wi-Fi hotspot and allows you to manage your diary for important business meetings on the go. You can also check your fuel levels remotely (via your smartphone), find your F-PACE in a busy car park, and more.
Luxurious features such as cruise control and hill hold assist make long motorway journeys or stop start city driving less tiresome. Parking sensors to the front and rear will take the guesswork out of manoeuvring into a parking space when you arrive at your destination.
The F-PACE Prestige is powered by Jaguar’s 2.0-litre diesel engine. Developing 177bhp and 430Nm of torque from just 1,750rpm, it’s mated to a six speed manual gearbox and will thunder from 0-60mph in around 8.5 seconds.
Enjoyable driving dynamics are provided courtesy of race inspired torque vectoring technology and weight balanced rear wheel drive, while extra traction and improved acceleration can be yours if you specify optional all-wheel drive. This option also offers you the chance to upgrade to an eight speed automatic gearbox.
The F-PACE is not all power and no conscience, though; CO2 emissions are as low as 129g/km, with fuel economy of up to 57.7mpg on the combined cycle.
