On Tuesday 6 November BMW unveiled six new models at EICMA, providing an exciting glimpse of the updated 2019 model range.
PERFECTION REIMAGINED: THE NEW S 1000 RR.
The new BMW S 1000 RR superbike is lighter, faster, and easier to control than ever before. A completely new engine sees an increased power output of 207 bhp, paired with a weight saving of 11 kg - with the M Package, the new model weighs in at just 193.5 kg.
BMW ShiftCam Technology sees the RR achieve new levels of performance. The engine’s variable valve timing achieves greater torque throughout the lower and mid-range, as well as delivering an increase in top-end power. The engine enhancements and weight savings for the S 1000 RR deliver, maximum riding pleasure and controllability whether you are riding on road or track.

With a capacity increase to 1254 ccm and a maximum torque of 143 Nm, the new engine offers a performance boost that is available at any time whilst the newly designed engine spoilers and radiator cover bring a fresh look.

Combining off-road agility with long-distance touring, we’ve bolstered our middle-weight adventure stable with the introduction of the F 850 GS Adventure. Using the dynamic qualities of the F 850 GS, recently named by Motorcycle News as Best Adventure bike of 2018, the Adventure boasts increased off-road competence, and adventure enduro qualities, capable of outstanding long-distance escapades.
Launched with a larger windshield, hand protectors, wide enduro foot rests, engine protection bars and a stainless-steel luggage rack as standard, the emphasis on around-the-world capability is unmistakeable. In addition to the standard model, the F 850 GS Adventure is available in both Exclusive and Rallye variants.
