Williams are proud to partner with Maggie’s; everyone’s home of cancer care, to help support their continued work.

You'll find Maggie's centres alongside NHS hospitals and also supporting people online, offering the best possible support free to anyone with cancer and their families.

As our chosen charity, Williams are proud to work with Maggie’s through initiatives that Williams staff and our customers can get involved with.

With Williams being a North West family business, our aim is to support the Maggie’s centres here in our region. They are Maggie's in Manchester, Merseyside and Oldham.

Maggie's is a charity providing free cancer support and information in centres across the UK and online. All Maggie's support is free and you don't need an appointment or referral.

Maggie’s founder, Maggie Keswick Jencks used her own experience of having cancer to create a new type of cancer care. Maggie felt that her diagnosis and treatment was as hard on her family as it was on her, so she created a new type of support, a centre that could make the experience of cancer more manageable for everyone.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996, and they now have a network of centres across the UK, including the three Williams supports in the North West. Find out more about Maggie and her story HERE.

Williams are a supporting a number of initiatives for Maggie’s to help them fundraise much needed funds. It costs £2,400 to run a Maggie’s for a day and they are only able to open the doors to their centres free of charge, thanks to the fundraising and generosity of local communities.

This Christmas, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting Maggie's and the wonderful work they do, we have a new addition to the usual Windows Christmas Tree Display in our showrooms:

You are invited to hang a star on our Maggie’s Christmas Tree of Love, in return for a donation of your choice.

Simply write a message on a star; this can be in memory or celebration of a loved one, or what Maggie’s means to you.

Once you’ve written your message, please display it on our beautiful tree.

Any donation, large or small, is hugely appreciated. Your donation will really help Williams help Maggie’s and people with cancer.

- £15 can pay for an hour of online community support to anyone in need.

- £100 can pay for three people to work through their problems with a psychologist .

The Maggie's Christmas Tree of Love will be present in all our BMW centres, Jaguar, Land Rover, Motorrad and Select.

If you are not able to make it into one of our showrooms, you can also make a donation to Maggie's on our Just Giving page HERE.

2.6 Challenge:

In May of this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Williams team took part in the '2.6 Challenge', a national campaign to support UK Charities. The charity we chose to support was of course, Maggie's! Click below to see how much we raised:
