Williams are supporting a number of initiatives for Maggie’s to help them fundraise much
needed funds. It costs £2,400 to run a Maggie’s for a day and they are only
able to open the doors to their centres free of charge, thanks to the
fundraising and generosity of local communities.
OUR LATEST FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES
Rochdale Half Marathon:
The Williams BMW Rochdale Half Marathon, 10K, and Fun Run is set to take place on Sunday 3 October and Maggie’s was selected to be the beneficiary of fundraising by Williams, who is title sponsor for the event.
Runners signed up from Williams - the long-established family business, and all raised funds for Maggie’s as part of the on-going partnership the company has with the charity.
Jessica Ruth, Maggie’s Centre Fundraiser Manchester, said: “We are truly grateful for the amazing fundraising work that Williams is undertaking via the Rochdale run and other activities across the region and the generosity is very much appreciated.”

The festive trees featured in each of our retail centres are a symbol of our ongoing partnership between the company and Maggie's Cancer Centres.
The Trees of Love were the centrepiece of the Christmas decorations in Manchester at TraffordCity, Bolton, Liverpool, Rochdale and Stockport and were a focal point for festive fundraising.
We are delighted to announce that the donations at the trees, combined with funds raised through our traditional Christmas jumper day, amounted to over £1,800 for the charity. Williams will also match what has been raised so a total of £3,600 will go to Maggie's.

In May of this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Williams team took part in the '2.6 Challenge', a national campaign to support UK Charities. The charity we chose to support was of course, Maggie's! Click below to see how much we raised:
