WILLIAMS FUNDRAISING FOR MAGGIE'S

Williams are supporting a number of initiatives for Maggie’s to help them fundraise much needed funds. It costs £2,400 to run a Maggie’s for a day and they are only able to open the doors to their centres free of charge, thanks to the fundraising and generosity of local communities.

We are supporting a number of initiatives for Maggie's to help them fundraise much-needed funds. The money raised is used to make the biggest possible difference to the people living with cancer who walk into a Maggie's centre each day.

£40 means that someone with cancer can spend an hour with a Benefits Advisor to help them get financial support.

£100 covers the cost of a 'Getting Started' session, helping someone with cancer learn to manage their diagnosis and treatment.

£180 means a family can get ongoing support from a Psychologist, helping them after losing someone with cancer.

Christmas:

The festive trees featured in each of our retail centres are a symbol of our ongoing partnership between the company and Maggie's Cancer Centres.

The Trees of Love were the centrepiece of the Christmas decorations in Manchester at TraffordCity, Bolton, Liverpool, Rochdale and Stockport and were a focal point for festive fundraising.

We are delighted to announce that the donations at the trees, combined with funds raised through our traditional Christmas jumper day, amounted to over £1,800 for the charity. Williams will also match what has been raised so a total of £3,600 will go to Maggie's.
