As a family business that has been trading in the North West for over 110 years, we wanted to reassure our customers, suppliers and friends of the business that we have a clear and well-defined plan in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19). We will continue to uphold our procedures after the latest easing of restrictions on 19 July, in the interest of keeping everyone safe.

We have taken positive steps to ensure the continued safety of our customers and staff:

  • Our staff members will continue to wear face masks, and although the legal requirement has been lifted we would request that customers continue to wear a face covering and maintain social distancing when visiting Williams centres. If you do not have a face mask to hand, our team will be happy to supply one.
  • Our staff will continue to maintain social distancing, with our customer areas also configured to give you as much space as possible.
  • Our centres will continue to maintain the highest standards of cleaning, with sanitisation stations remaining in place as well as perspex screens.

Can I speak to someone about my vehicle?

Can I visit your showroom?

Yes, all our showrooms are open with continued safety measures in place so you can visit us at any of our Williams centres with complete peace of mind. This includes social distancing, hand sanitiser and face masks remaining in place at our centres from 19 July. Our team also remain on hand at every centre to assist you with Digital Sales, Click & Collect, Service, Aftersales & Bodyshop.


Do I have to wear a face mask?

Following the Government's latest easing of lockdown restrictions on 19 July, we still request that our customers continue to wear face masks and maintain social distancing when visiting Williams centres. This is an additional step that we have taken as a retail business to ensure the safety of our customers and staff members.

Can I go for a test drive?

Can I still order a new or approved used vehicle?

Yes, in addition to our showrooms being open, we are offering a full end to end sales process via online and telephone. A dedicated digital customer team is available to discuss your requirements. More information on our new Buy Online feature can be found HERE.

When will I be able to pick up my new or approved used vehicle?

You are able to collect your vehicle with our 'click & collect' service. However if you are unable to collect, we are also offering a home delivery service. Please speak to a member of the team for more information.

Williams BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover and BMW Motorrad servicing is fully operational and available to all customers, with all necessary steps taken to keep our customers and our team safe.

My vehicle's MOT is due. What should I do?

You can book your MOT online HERE, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency have now stated the grace period is over, so if your MOT is due on or after 1 August 2020, you must book this procedure in as normal.

It is important to note that all vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition and drivers can be prosecuted if they drive an unsafe vehicle.

Can I still purchase parts?

Yes, parts are available to purchase. To order, please contact your selected location and your order will be processed and collection time set.

Can I extend my new and approved used vehicle finance?

Yes, should you wish to, your current finance agreement can be extended to avoid making any decisions on a new vehicle at this current time. Please contact our sales team for more details.
