Your Questions Answered

What services do you offer?

Close

Williams can help you throughout your ownership journey, not just when it’s time to change your car.

Across the Group we offer new and used cars, servicing and repairs, MOTs, genuine parts, vehicle valuations and part exchange, as well as business and fleet support. We represent BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW Motorrad and Geely across the North West

Where are you based?

Close

Williams is based across the North West, with retail centres in Bolton, Liverpool, Manchester, Rochdale and Stockport. Across these locations you’ll find our BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW Motorrad and Geely businesses.

For example, Williams Bolton is on Vincent Way just south of the town centre, Williams Liverpool is on Great Howard Street, Williams Manchester is at Barton Dock Road in Stretford, and our Stockport BMW centre is at Kings Reach Business Park on Yew Street.

Use our Find Us page to choose your nearest Williams centre and get directions, contact details and opening times.

What does the warranty cover?

Close

The warranty that comes with your car will depend on the manufacturer, model and whether you’re buying new or used.

Your Williams team will explain exactly what cover comes with the vehicle you’re considering, including the length of the warranty, mileage limits and any important exclusions. That way, you’ll know what’s covered before you drive away.

What are your opening hours?

Close

Opening hours vary slightly between Williams locations and between Sales, Service and Parts.

As an example, Williams BMW centres in Bolton and Stockport currently have Sales open Monday to Friday 08:30–18:00, Saturday 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 11:00–16:00. Service departments open earlier during the week and have different Saturday and Sunday hours.

Because times can differ by dealership and department, we recommend checking the page for your local Williams centre before travelling.

Do you offer business or fleet vehicles?

Close

Yes. Williams has a dedicated Corporate Sales team supporting everyone from sole traders and small businesses to larger fleet operators.

For businesses running up to 50 cars, BMW and MINI Business Partnership options are available, while larger fleets may qualify for additional support. We also have Business Development Managers across our retail centres who can help with vehicle choice, funding and fleet requirements, with nationwide delivery available for business customers.

Do you offer courtesy cars?

Close

Courtesy cars are available for some servicing and repair bookings, subject to availability.

If staying mobile while your car is with us is important, mention it when you make your booking. Our service team can check availability and explain the options at your chosen Williams centre. Williams also specifically offers courtesy-car provision on eligible bodyshop repairs, subject to availability.

I’d favour this version for the live page: it feels less like generic dealership FAQ copy and gives customers useful Williams-specific detail without making each answer too long.

How does test driving a car work?

Close

A test drive is the best way to get a feel for whether a car is right for you. At Williams, we’ll arrange a convenient time for you to visit, introduce you to the car and talk you through any features you’d like to know more about before you head out on the road.

Our team will be there to answer any questions before and after your drive, with no pressure to decide on the day.

How do I book a test drive?

Close

You can request a test drive through the Williams website or contact your nearest dealership directly.

Simply let us know which car you’re interested in, and our team will get in touch to arrange a date and time that works for you.

What documents do I need to buy a car?

Close

What you’ll need can depend on how you’re buying your car, but we’ll make the process as straightforward as possible.

You’ll normally need your driving licence and proof of your personal details. If you’re arranging finance, we may need some additional information to complete your application. Your Williams Sales Executive will let you know exactly what’s required before you get to that stage.

Can I part exchange my current car?

Close

Yes. You can part-exchange your current car with Williams and use its value towards your next one.

We can provide a valuation based on the details and condition of your vehicle. If there’s outstanding finance, this will need to be taken into account as part of the transaction. You can also use your part exchange towards your deposit when buying online.

What payment methods do you accept?

Close

The way you pay will depend on the vehicle and whether you’re buying outright or using finance.

We offer a range of ways to fund your next car, and your Williams Sales Executive will talk you through the options available and what’s needed to complete your purchase. If you have a specific payment requirement, it’s best to check with your chosen dealership before collection.

Can I get my car delivered to me?

Close

Yes, home delivery is available on selected vehicles. Williams BMW, for example, offers nationwide delivery direct to your door, and our online buying journey includes options for both home delivery and collection.

Delivery arrangements can vary by vehicle and location, so speak to the team looking after your purchase and we’ll confirm what’s available to you.
