We would like to extend our warmest wishes to the new King as he prepares for his coronation ceremony on Saturday, 06 May at Westminster Abbey, London.
As a family-owned business, we acknowledge the importance of family values and traditions, and are proud to be part of this historic moment in our country's history.
At the Queen’s Coronation in 1954, Williams was a 45-year-old company, established by a family and handed down through the generations. Now, in 2023, as we celebrate the Kings Coronation, Williams at 114 years old continues to hold family values at its core and looks forward to many years ahead working in our communities.
To mark the coronation there are many ways to get involved including big lunches across the country and Commonwealth from the 6th to the 8th of May, giving people the opportunity to come together with friends and family, enjoy good food and celebrate this important moment.
On Sunday, 7 May, there will be a coronation concert at Windsor Castle, which will be broadcast live on BBC television and on Monday, 8 May, there will be Big Help Out activities taking place across the country. These provide a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get involved and make a positive difference in their local communities.
