Fans of MINI have many things to look forward to this year, such as the electric MINI Cooper in both power levels “E” and “SE”, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 with intelligent all-wheel drive… and more recently the MINI Aceman.
From April 25 to May 4, MINI will be presenting the new generation of the New MINI Family at the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition 2024, along with its independent, all-electric vehicle, the MINI Aceman occupies the position between the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman.
Unmistakably MINI yet with a true-to-style modern twist, the MINI Aceman allows its driver to interact with the car on a completely new level with features that light up, blink or even greet you with inviting sounds.
The MINI Aceman's interior seamlessly blends classic MINI design features with sporty elements and luxurious handcrafted details. The open spaces near the doors and the plush surfaces create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, while the panoramic roof fills the cabin with natural light.
The front and rear seats are ergonomically beautiful whilst maintaining the MINI signature minimalism, made up of flat knit, velvet velour and waffle fabric.
A Step-Forward for Sustainability:
Using sustainable materials and only recycled plastics, the MINI Aceman has been crafted with the highest attention to detail and quality. In combination with the colour nuances, an astonishing interplay of contrasts delivers a highly emotive driving experience.
What a Welcome:
Enclosed by the daytime running light rings, the Matrix LED structure in the front grille, and green contour lighting of the grille combine to create a distinctive new light experience. The sensor-based light animation is activated as you approach the vehicle. A cloud of light from the front area follows you and becomes brighter as you approach. The front lights blink, and a special earcon sound greets you at your door.
Something Extremely Special:
Depending on mode, the contents of the OLED display are extended to the entire dashboard by animated projections so that, in combination with specially developed sounds, you can enjoy a personalised interior experience every time.
Immerse yourself in different worlds. Three new experience modes demonstrate alternative ways to operate and enjoy the displays at your disposal. So, give them a try – and bring your interior to life.
Personal Mode
This is all about personalising the displays. You can select from an array of subtly animated background images which are accompanied by curated sounds and projected onto the dashboard. Examples include clouds moving across the sky, waves breaking on the shore and shimmering water in a swimming pool.
Pop-Up Mode
The Pop-Up Mode is the first experience-oriented navigation to be offered in a MINI – it even includes the element of surprise. Get inspired about where to go by selecting an experience category such as dining out, events, trends, or even spinning an animated wheel of fortune.
Vivid Mode
Vivid Mode makes every journey in the MINI Aceman more playful, interactive and fun. In this mode, you can create a completely new interactive design for the entire display area whenever the vehicle is stationary.
The New MINI Aceman will be available to order from 12th June, and will be in showrooms closer to the end of the year, and we absolutely love it!
