2. Liverpool Education Based Days Out

Space, the Universe and Everything – Liverpool Cathedral

This is a family-fun, immersive experience to take you deep into Space, the Universe and all, at Liverpool Cathedral. From Friday 18th to Sunday 17th February visit to see spectacular projections highlight over the inspiring building created by recognised artistic collaborations.

3. Little Liverpool – Liverpool Museum

Looking for a day out for children under the age of 6? Head down to the Museum of Liverpool where your children can take part in a wide range of activities within a hands-on fantasy world. Taking place from Tuesday 22 to Saturday 26th this experience is free of charge and involves a permanent display with sessions lasting around 30 minutes.

4. Family Workshop – Victoria Gallery and Museum

At the Victoria Gallery and Museum on Wednesday 23rd February, Jamaican artist Deseanna Watson is leading two workshops focused on teaching attendees the art of creating artworks using maps and fabrics inspired by her work. Featured at this event will also be the exhibition 'Jamaica Making' for individuals interested in expanding their visit.

5. Outdoor Days Out

Zip World, North Wales

Visit one of Zip World three sites across North Wales this February half term for a fun-filled experience for all the family to joy. With all activities open, there is an extensive amount of adventures to take part in throughout the stunning Snowdon mountain range.

6. RHS Bridgwater, Salford

Over the half term, from Saturday 19th – Sunday 27th February RHS Bridgwater will be running a range of activities for families to enjoy. Zoolab is offering animal encounters for young children to get up close to feed the animals as well as workshop and interactive storytelling sessions to increase children's learning abilities.

7. Bootle Golf Course – Driving Range

Fancy getting your children involved in sporting activities this half term? Sefton Council is offering children under the ages of 16 a free bucket of golf balls to introduce young ones to the game and keep them active.

8. Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm, Merseyside

For a fun free day out head down to The Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm in Merseyside where your children can get up close and personal with a wide range of animals including alpacas, goats, ponies, rabbits and many more. The farm is open every day with free parking for all visitors.

9. Otterspool Adventure Potterspool

Take a drive down to South Liverpool where Otterspool Adventure brings you The Wizard and the Wand this half term. Taking place from Saturday 19th – Sunday 27th February families can enjoy a spellbinding show with Magic, Illusions and Fantastic Flying Animals.
