Jaguar has been named Car Brand with the Best Features at the 2019 Auto Trader New Car Awards, placing a spotlight on the in-car technology and infotainment in all new Jaguar models.

Unlike other car awards which rely on editorial judging panels, the Auto Trader New Car Awards are decided by over 63,000 real car owners. The winners represent the consumer champions of the new car market, based on the honest opinions of those who have bought, driven and lived with their new vehicles. The car owners questioned were more impressed with the technology on offer in Jaguar models than any other car manufacturer.

Jaguar’s innovation in bringing features to its cars that will make the biggest difference to buyers’ ownership experience includes the ClearSight interior rear view mirror, recently introduced on the Jaguar XE. This segment-first technology improves safety and convenience by using a camera to ensure the driver has an unobstructed view of the road behind.

It’s just one small part of a long list of cutting edge features and options available on all Jaguar models, and beloved by the new car owners questioned as part of the Auto Trader New Car Awards. The new XE, for example, – Jaguar’s entry-level model – comes as standard with an automatic transmission, all-LED headlights and taillights, front and rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-inch touchscreen, InControl Remote App for remote starting, and lane keep assist. Wireless charging and Smart Settings, an artificial intelligence system that learns driver habits and adapts car settings accordingly, are also on offer.

Always offering the most relevant solutions to modern car ownership, most Jaguar model lines are now also equipped with a WiFi hotspot as standard, allowing up to eight devices to connect simultaneously, and a number of USB charging ports. The E-PACE is even offered with an innovative Click and Go system, which includes a holder integrated into the rear of the front seats for easily mounting tablets.
