Williams Group has announced the acquisition of Stratstone Jaguar Manchester. The move will take effect from 12 August, at which point Stratstone Jaguar Manchester, on Upper Brook Street will become known as Williams Jaguar Manchester.
This latest acquisition will bring together the Jaguar and Land Rover brands within the heart of Manchester, forming a natural progression for the Williams Group. Williams Jaguar Manchester will become the 14th motor retail centre in the Group's impressive portfolio which includes BMW, MINI and Motorcycles.
Nick Cook, Williams Group Managing Director said: “This acquisition is key to strengthening our already substantial presence within the North West.
“Williams Jaguar Manchester will be a valuable asset to our expanding business. The Jaguar franchise is a premium player in the market, and given our current relationship with Jaguar Land Rover Limited, will prove a perfect fit for the Williams Group.
“This year is particularly exciting for Jaguar, with the introduction of a number of new models including the XE, a second generation XF and the all new SUV range, commencing with the F-Pace which makes it debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September."
The Williams Group has pledged to retain the current staff at the Jaguar centre.
