The loyal employee, from Cheadle, was joined by his fellow colleagues to celebrate his time and achievements to date since beginning his career at the prestigious motor company in 1987.
Having fulfilled various roles during his employment, Dave (65) has played an instrumental part in the history of Williams Stockport BMW and Williams Stockport MINI and has most recently relished his role as a Driver on collections and deliveries.
When asked about his career highlight to date, Dave reflected upon his time as a Workshop Controller where he was influential in guiding the Service Team to sustain a leading model operation which was recognised nationally throughout the BMW network.
Dave as a result of his renowned success has been rewarded admirably by the Williams Group in the past, most notably with 'once in a life time' recognition rewards including being honoured with a visit to Pattaya in Thailand, and also a voyage on the Orient Express.
Dave commented: “It has been a privilege to be part of the Williams Stockport BMW and Williams Stockport MINI success and growth. Today, they stand to be major showrooms in the area and it has been a pleasure to see them flourish.
“I have built up fantastic relationships with my colleagues and clients locally, it will certainly be strange to leave behind a very important chapter of my life."
Damian Boneham, Head of Business at Williams Stockport, commented: “It has been an honour to work with Dave who has delivered an outstanding work ethic and commitment for the last 28 years. Dave has been integral to Williams Stockport's success and we wish him a healthy and happy retirement."
