Getting started with the My BMW App

Getting started is simple. Download the My BMW App from the App Store or Google Play, log in with your BMW ID and add your vehicle to begin using the app straight away.

The app is compatible with most BMW models from 2014 onwards, depending on specification.

If you’re new to the app, Demo Mode lets you explore its features before getting started. You can connect to a virtual vehicle and try key functions without needing to be in your car.

Activate your free trials*

If your BMW is eligible, you may have access to a range of complimentary digital service trials through BMW ConnectedDrive.

Depending on your vehicle, this can include features such as Safety Camera Information and Parking Assistant Professional, allowing your BMW to park itself with minimal input.

You can explore and activate available trials via the BMW ConnectedDrive Online Shop or directly through your My BMW App by selecting ‘Services & Store’.
