Proactive Care. Support when you need it.

Your BMW continuously monitors key vehicle systems through its onboard sensors. When a potential maintenance requirement, fault or technical issue is detected, the information can be securely transferred to BMW and remotely assessed.

Depending on what is identified, you may receive a notification through the My BMW App, by email, SMS or directly through your vehicle. For urgent issues, a BMW expert may contact you by phone to provide immediate guidance and arrange the appropriate support.

Remote diagnosis, quicker support.

Remote diagnosis allows BMW specialists to review relevant vehicle information without you needing to visit a BMW Centre first.

In some cases, support can be provided remotely. When a workshop appointment is required, the transferred vehicle data allows your chosen Williams BMW Centre to prepare in advance, identify the work that may be needed and order any required parts before you arrive. This helps make servicing and repairs quicker, simpler and more efficient.

The My BMW App keeps you connected to your vehicle wherever you are and brings a range of useful ownership features together in one place.

The app can also help you plan journeys, send destinations directly to your BMW and remotely check or secure your vehicle, depending on its specification.

When the unexpected happens, BMW support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

You can request assistance through the My BMW App, your vehicle’s iDrive system or by telephone. Relevant vehicle information can be shared directly with BMW, helping the team understand the situation and arrange the right support as quickly as possible.

  • Your BMW has an active ConnectedDrive contract
  • You have accepted the latest BMW ConnectedDrive terms and conditions
  • Smart Maintenance and relevant mobility services are activated in your vehicle
  • Your contact details are complete and up to date in your BMW ConnectedDrive profile
  • Your vehicle is linked to your BMW ID through the My BMW App
