BMW M5

Take to the streets with style in BMW’s latest super-saloon, the reimagined M5. Now in its sixth generation, the M5 has been equipped with a meaty new V8 engine and the latest in cutting edge hardware.

Exterior

Sporting its subtly refined trademark design, the new M5 cuts an athletic shape. The low sloping carbon roof, razor-sharp LED headlights and enlarged frontal cooling vents, all help to carve a distinctly modern silhouette, perfect for cruising through the city. A range of striking colours are available, a standout being the rich cobalt blue iteration that has a contemporary metallic sheen.

Interior

BMW is known for its luxurious take on interior cabin design and thankfully the new M5 is no exception. With heated, electronically adjustable front seats, quad-zone climate control and exquisite merino leather upholstery throughout, the M5 will have you and your passengers riding in luxury from the word go. The digital instrument cluster is both modern and easily managed, while wireless phone charging capabilities will help you stay connected no matter where your journey takes you.

Engines and Performance

When it comes to performance, the new BMW M5 is in a league of its own. The model’s 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine yields 592bhp and 750Nm of torque and now drives all four wheels through a new 8-speed Steptronic transmission. The results? Exceptional handling, muscular traction and an impressive 0-60 mph of just over three seconds. Counterbalanced by an impressively robust suspension, the new M5 delivers a sporty drive without sacrificing an ounce of comfort.

Technology & Safety

Named as the Official Safety Car of MotoGP 2018, the new M5 has its finger firmly on the pulse when it comes to keeping you equipped for any unforeseen dangers. The head-up display, Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go functionality, and optional Driving Assistant Plus, all help to optimise safety, keeping cutting edge technology at the forefront of every drive. The M specific instrument cluster features five displays: rev counter, speedometer fuel gauge, oil temperature and fuel consumption. Also featured is a status indicator for the M Driving dynamics systems: steering, suspension, engine, Drivelogic and M xDrive.
