BMW is returning to the big screen in Spider-Man™: Brand New Day, bringing advanced technology, unmistakable design and driving pleasure to the latest chapter of the iconic film series.
Released exclusively in cinemas from 31 July 2026, the film features the new BMW iX3 and BMW 5 Series Saloon as part of its story.
At the heart of BMW’s appearance is the new BMW iX3 – the first production model from the Neue Klasse generation.
Alongside the BMW 5 Series Saloon, it showcases some of the brand’s latest innovations, including the BMW Panoramic Display, intelligent driver assistance technology, a panoramic glass sunroof and responsive driving modes.
Rather than simply appearing in the background, both cars have been woven into the film’s storyline, connecting BMW’s vision for modern mobility with the energy and excitement of Spider-Man’s world.
To celebrate the collaboration, BMW has created a unique one-off model: the BMW iX3 Flow – Spider-Man Brand New Day.
Developed with Sony and Marvel, the car uses full-colour E Ink Prism™ technology to display animated graphics across its exterior. Inspired by Spider-Man’s movement, energy and distinctive visual identity, the digital surface transforms the car into a moving part of the story.
Following the film’s premiere, the one-off BMW iX3 will be displayed at BMW Welt in Munich until September 2026.
BMW drivers in participating markets can also enjoy a special Spider-Man™ animation through their vehicle’s Control Display.
Available from 27 July until 10 August 2026, the experience combines a full-screen animation with music and ambient lighting effects.
It is available on suitably equipped vehicles produced after July 2020 using BMW Operating System 7, 8, 8.5, 9 or BMW Operating System X. Availability may vary by vehicle and market.
The partnership brings together two worlds shaped by technology, imagination and forward momentum.
From the all-electric BMW iX3 to the refined BMW 5 Series, each model reflects BMW’s commitment to creating vehicles that feel every bit as exciting on the road as they look on screen.
